About the Speaker:
Wendy Gao is the Textile Material Lead at NASA Johnson Space Center on the JETS II Contract. In this role, she leads the selection and development of advanced textile materials for space hardware, with a focus on softgoods used in Intravehicular Activity. Her work bridges textile innovation and human spaceflight needs, ensuring that fabrics and materials perform reliably in the unique environment of space.
